The Process of Change.
Hello all, and welcome to my first ever blog post. Hope everyone is well and doing good. I’m so excited to share my new venture you guys, and I hope you enjoy reading.
Life’s a journey and Lord knows it can be a difficult road, everyone can say they’ve been through their own personal trials and tribulations, their individual struggles and their own tough experiences which moulded them into the person they are today.
As titled above, this post is about the ‘process of change’. I found an interest in this topic because over the last 2/3 years of life i’ve realised slowly but surely ‘change’ is one of things in life that is constant and we can always count on happening. Its all around us, its expected.

When things in life change, often we see it as a door closed and life coming to a standstill. We all are creatures of habit, we like routine, we want to feel comfortable and secure. I’m saying this because I myself, personally HATE change with a passion, I like consistency ,I like knowing I have some control over a situation.
However, over the years i’ve had to accept it and adapt with it. When you start to realise that change isn’t a ”closed door” but an opening to new experiences, chances and opportunity you get to find out who YOU really are. You learn more about yourself , what you can and can’t tolerate, you learn the cost of current decisions and how you can create a better path for you to take in life.
Don’t live life hiding behind your past, live for right now.

There’s been so many times I catch myself reminiscing of the past, the good and the bad times. For the bad times, I would want to rewind the clock to change certain choices and certain decisions so the outcome of the situation is different.
For the good times, I would want to rewind the clock to re-live and soak in the moment. Realisation hits, we can’t change the past, its an impossible act , the best thing we can do for ourselves is to live in the moment and make the most out of the present time BUT not to the point that we destroy our future.

To a certain extent, life doesn’t work in a way in which we can control, we can’t control everything that happens to us. Im a firm believer that ‘whatever will be, will be’ ;everything we do and everyone we meet is put on our path for a reason. Although, we can’t control life , we can control how we react to the things that are out of our control, we can control how we handle situations and the attitude we have towards these situations.
‘whatever will be, will be. The future isn’t ours to see yet’
We as young adults need to understand ‘the process of change’, it all start in the mind. Remember – the law of attraction- we create our own realities, for example if our thoughts are limited, we attract limited possibilities. Change your mindset, reform, improve and develop.

In essence, my point is that we must take life day by day, whilst being grateful for the small things, the memories we create, the laughs we share, the smiles we give out. We shouldn’t get caught up in the web of things we physically can’t control, we can only find it within ourselves to be positive, relax and have the faith that things will work out.
