Hello, hi everyone. A big warm welcome back to The Confession Journal! I hope everyone is doing good, staying safe and staying sane.
I know! I know! It’s been a VERY long time since I made a blog post, I don’t even want to mention how many months it has been since my last one. I hang my head in shame!
I have a bad habit of disappearing and reappearing without notice, my day 1 readers know this :(. It started off as ‘let me take a couple weeks off’; these few weeks turns into a month and that month turnt into a few, and that turnt into a year. I ended up taking a longer break than expected. However!I can officially announce I’m back from my unintentional and much needed hiatus, I’m feeling a lot more like myself and I’m ready to tap back in!
Life can actually come at you so fast and when you least expect it. I can’t sit here and try to boil down the hiatus to one single reason but honestly, I just felt like my creative spark wasn’t really burning anymore. And the last thing I wanted to do was write a piece that wasn’t up to par. I want to make sure every post is interesting and something relatable that I would read myself. I can hold my hands up and say I genuinely got extremely comfortable in taking a leave. But! I didn’t completely forget about TCJ!
I feel inspired, although I’ve been MIA since my last post – Dear Remi, which was really fun to write and I hope you all enjoyed.
The days are getting shorter and the sun is going down quicker – which means winter – my favourite season and the end of the year is approaching. With only 2 months left in the year, I have a few topics in mind for blogs I want to release and i’m excited about sharing, so keep an eye out!
I’ve also started a new business called ‘Zip&Sip’ which i’m extremely excited about, providing premium sips at your fingertips! Specialising in vibrant cocktail pouches, syringes and also mocktails. I’m devoting the last few months of the year into the hands of God, i’m hoping for testimonies – not just from me but for all of us. This year has been filled with a lot of negative news but we can’t digress from the fact we have a lot to be thankful for. I’m also dedicated to created life long memories, whilst also strengthening my current friendships. I’m dedicated to growing and glowing and finally, i’m dedicated to being happy, like genuinely happy. None of the fake smiles stuff, genuine happiness.
